The mission of DC Project Connect is to provide crisis intervention and grief support services to families of the incarcerated and support reentry initiatives that strengthen families who have loved ones in prison [especially children].
We are a 501(c)(3) Organization. All of our work for children and families is pro bono.

We believe that prisoner reentry begins on the day of sentencing. The family is an important component. We seek to prevent inter-generational incarceration through providing resources and publications that contribute to building strong familial bonds.
Our board is comprised of experts on mass incarceration. These leaders know first hand how incarceration hurts families. They are willing to take a stance on criminal justice reform that supports rather than punishes families of inmates.
